Merck

Merck & Co. is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. Known as MSD outside the U.S. and Canada, the company is known for medicines, biologic therapies and vaccines. Brand-name products of note include Keytruda, Januvia, Gardasil, Remicade and Isentress. It was originally founded as an American subsidiary of a German company that operates under the umbrella Merck Group, and that group includes Merck KGaA of Darmstadt, Germany, which operates from multiple U.S. locations.
